• Contact References: References to contacts from your device’s contact list that you associate with tasks
• File Attachments: Images, PDFs, audio files, and other documents you attach to tasks
• Voice Recordings: Temporary audio recordings created when you use voice-to-text features
• App Settings: Your preferences, theme customization, notification settings, and language preferences
• Schedule Data: Custom schedules and time blocks you create

Important: All task data, attachments, and personal information are stored exclusively on your device. We do not have access to this data, and it is not transmitted to our servers or any third-party servers.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do NOT collect or store your personal information on our servers
• We do NOT have access to your tasks, notes, or attachments
• We do NOT collect your name, email address, or contact information (unless you voluntarily contact us for support)
• We do NOT track your location

Permissions Required

TaskBolt requires the following permissions to function:

Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO)

• Purpose: To enable voice-to-text features for creating tasks
• Usage: Audio is processed on-device using your device’s speech recognition service
• Storage: Voice data is not permanently stored; it is converted to text and immediately discarded

Contacts (READ_CONTACTS)

• Purpose: To allow you to associate contacts with tasks for quick communication
• Usage: Contact information is only accessed when you choose to link a contact to a task
• Storage: Only contact references (not full contact data) are stored locally on your device

Phone Call (CALL_PHONE)

• Purpose: To enable quick calling of contacts associated with tasks
• Usage: Only activated when you explicitly tap the call button for a task-linked contact

Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS, SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM, etc.)

• Purpose: To deliver task reminders and notifications
• Usage: Notifications are scheduled locally on your device based on your task deadlines

Internet (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE)

• Purpose: Required for displaying advertisements (free version) and processing in-app purchases
• Usage: Only used for ad delivery and purchase verification; no task data is transmitted

Storage

• Purpose: To store task data, attachments, and app settings locally on your device
• Usage: All data is stored in app-specific directories on your device

Third-Party Services

TaskBolt uses the following third-party services:

Google AdMob (Free Version Only)

Purpose: To display advertisements to free users

Data Collected by AdMob:

• Device information (device model, operating system)
• Ad interaction data (views, clicks)
• Approximate location (based on IP address)
• Advertising ID

How We Use Your Information

Since all your task data is stored locally on your device, we do not have access to or use your personal task information. The only data processed involves:

1. Advertising (Free Users): AdMob uses device information to display relevant ads
2. Purchases: Transaction data is processed by Google Play to verify premium purchases
3. App Functionality: All features operate locally on your device

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do NOT sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

Limited Data Sharing:

• AdMob: May share anonymized advertising data with ad partners (free version only)
• Google Play: Purchase transaction data is shared with Google for payment processing

• View Data: All your data is accessible within the app
• Delete Data: You can delete individual tasks, attachments, or all data from the app settings
• Export Data: Use the backup/export feature to create a local copy of your data

• You can revoke app permissions at any time through your device settings
• Revoking permissions may limit app functionality

Advertising

• Opt-Out of Personalized Ads: Visit your device’s ad settings (Google Settings > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization)
• Remove Ads Entirely: Upgrade to Premium to completely remove ads

Children’s Privacy

TaskBolt is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us, and we will take steps to delete such information.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
